Hey y’all, I have a question regarding vintage knife aging. I’ve been able to determine it was made by L.F.&Co, makers of many kitchenwares and cutlery among other things between 1865-1965 when they folded into G.E.
At this point I would just like to know the year of the knife if possible. Based on my own research I think it’s around a hundred years old but I’m not sure.
Anyone know? Thanks!
What is the age of this L.F.&C folding knife?

Goins' says LF&C made pocket knives from 1912-1950. Yours appears to have their faux stag scales. It is likely pre-WW2 but it would not be possible to give it a precise age. Besides being horrifically sharpened the blade has bee drastically re-shaped.

+1 what Gunsil said regarding age. Yours has definitely seen some hard use, here's what that blade looks like in pretty much unused condition:

Ah that’s the one, yeah it was my grandfather’s and I’m certain he used it plenty, thanks for the responses!
