Today I was told that Tony had passed. Does anyone have any information?

Not true, just talked to him now. Told him I would sit it straight.

After an extensive online search, there was a younger Tony Foster that passed recently

KJ, some folks don’t like Tony for his ways, some call him the “Godfather “ of Case Knives, I call him a good friend ::tu::

Tony Foster does not tolerate or handle foolishness well. If you don't know what you're talking about, don't expect him to entertain or enlighten you.
He keeps a sign on his table that plainly states, "THIS AIN'T WAL-MART!!!"

However, I've always liked Tony. He occasionally comes up with a good Robeson. ::tu::

If your interest lies in Case pocketknives, 1970 and older and if you ever attend a knife show in the South East, Tony's table should be your first stop.

Even if you don't buy anything, pick up a copy of his latest Price and Value List.

Certainly glad to hear he is not deceased. Just saw him in Lexington in August.

I had the pleasure to meet Tony some years ago at a show in Mesquite, TX. A really nice guy and a walking encyclopedia on Case knives. ::tu:: Good to know he's still upright!

Hi All; I just spoke to Tony, he is fine with his usual sarcasm!
He helped me complete my 10 dot 1970 case knives with the purchase
he made in Florida, I got first choice! He is a great Man, and I have
learned a lot from him!

I think this is a funny story. I've never met or spoken to Tony. A member here gets his news letter and noticed he had some Remington knives I might be interested in. He asked Tony in he would send me his knife list. His response was "I don't need any more pen pals"
That's one of the funniest things I've ever heard. I've still never received his knife list. Lol

Hi,
My husband and I just met Tony today at a knife show in Harrisonburg. I was googling trying to find his updated price guide, would any one happen to know how I can get ahold of one for my husband?

Thank you.

Just got off the phone with "Zippo" WR Case and they referred me to Tony for information on an old knife I had just bought. I sold tony a knife just last week--lightning pay. So he is alive and well.

And this thread is over two years old.

But, it’s good to know Tony is well.
