HARVEY BROS. MOP FRUIT KNIFE

i have this tiny fruit knife . mop scales,brass liners ,nickel bolsters. blade stamped harvey bros.looks to have some age to it
has any one any info on this maker.?

It isn't a fruit knife; it is a standard pen knife with fancy bolsters made in Germany probably in the 1920's or 30's. I have several of them by various makers(all German). Apparently it was a popular method of decorating knives of that era in Germany.
A fruit knife would have either a plated or solid silver blade and hall marks(or marked sterling or coin depending on silver content).

thanks for the info. you have nice collection of mop knife's.
i like the tear drop shaped one in the 2nd pic :D
