Unusual pocket knife construction... (Maker??)
Hello everyone...
I dug this one out of my "knife pile" and was about to clean it up. I was noticing the unusual construction. The springs are covered on the spine of the knife... (??). The springs have a "cut-out" area up near the tang area of the blades for the springs to come thru.
I found a faint tang stamp but I can't figure out what it says.....
Y'all ever seen anything like this?
Mike

Must be a #22 because of the clip main blade. Blademaker sent a 1976 #23 (spear master) to me in the 2012 POS roundtable. The only thing wrong with it was the handles were messed up so I sent it off to Glenn for some new covers. Managed to find the before pictures and here is an after picture. Treefarmer has it now.

I'd love to see how those springs push in/ out of that frame. I've got two, one with pretty reddish scales and a tipped blade, and a plain jane brown one with a full blade, have considered a blade swap...
