Hey Everyone,
I received this knife with a lot I picked up. I've heard of the brand but I have no idea of value. I posted it on ebay and I've already had buyers asking if I'd end my auction early. So far $60 is the highest offer. I can't find this exact model anywhere. All I know is this particular tang stamp was very short lived. If you gus could help me out I'd really appreciate it.

Re: Help With A J. Primble
This 4 1/2 stag Anglo-Saxon whittler pattern knife is one that many collectors would like to own so I can see why you have had offers to end the auction. Hard to tell from the pictures but it looks to be in decent shape overall. I certainly wouldn't end it for $60 as I think it should do better than that.
If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.

Thank you so much. Was I right on the year?
Re: Help With A J. Primble
Not sure when they were made but I do think the time period was short.

Goins has a date for that stamp around 1955. Levines dates it starting 1947. Nice stag on that knife. Scott
