WW2 Engineer's Knife question

Got a question about the knife pictured below.
It's a WW2 MADE IN U.S.A. with no manufacturer stamping.
I've got Silvey's book and he mentions these knives (page 54) but doesn't go into who might have manufactured them. This one seems to be a later one 'cause of the type of can opener, probably 1944 or later.
Anybody have a clue?
Thanks.......Bruno

Brass or steel liners?

I have a similar knife (brass liners), and it was identified as being made by Camillus for Sears and Roebuck.

I think that it is post WWII made by Camillus for Sears.

I had a similar knife at the Oregon show 2 year ago that Mike Silvy said it was Ulster or Pal.
That was news to me, I had not realized that both those companies used that tang stamp.
