Does anyone have any information on Bayes U.S.A. tang stamp?

Goins uses g to represent guesstimation.

Did a little research (should have started there) and discovered that Bayes knives were made by Colonial. 1970-1980

From the little bit I could see of in picture I was wondering if it wasn't the Colonial.
