SCHRADE UNCLE HENRY LB1

Post by BlackBeastEnt »

I have this Schrade/Uncle Henry LB1 that has Blue Mountain Turquoise on the blade and real nice handle with what appears to be turquoise in it. However I cannot find any information on it on the web. Can anyone help with this please? Providing more info like year made etc.

Thanks!

I don't have any collect Schrade's and know little about them. Looks like your knife was made by these people and they have been in business since 1981. Maybe someone can date your knife by the tang stamp?

Below is a link to the "Uncle Henry" page in the Schrade pages posted here in the RESEARCH section of AAPK. It appears your knife was made from 1981-1996. There are several companies that take factory production knives and re-handle them with exotic materials and add embellishments to them. Some buy from the manufacturer directly and may even buy the knife without any handles being installed by the factory.
