MILLER BRO's...Authentic?

Post by bkazz5 »

I bought this knife at a flea market. Bought it because I like the bone and really like the shield. It has been used and someone has buffed it at some point. Do you think it is authentic?

That is sweet Bkazz, I have seen a couple on ebay. I have been looking for one of those myself. Roger I was watching the one on ebay. I was surprised that it went so high. I guess I need to start eating ramen noodles.

The handles and frame look good to me. The blades don't look right. The spear master looks modern and the pen looks like it has some issues as well. Welded blades?
If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.

Wayne you may well be right.I didn't look close at the blades, and knew the frame and stamps were right.I went back and looked at the one that sold on Ebay and it had a matchstrike long pull on the master.

I went and found the one that sold on ebay, here are photos for reference. Aside from the match pull they look the same to me. The OP knife has been buffed quite a bit, where the ebay one doesn't appear to be, at least not as much. That axe shield is really neat.

Darrell, I dont think your an idiot. I think your pockets are deeper than mine. I figured the knife would be in the range of 350 bucks and I am no expert either. I would love to see your others. I do hope you decide to post pics of them.

I bid on that Miller on eBay! It got out of my league at the end. I wanted it to go with my Hatch knife. It has a similar shield. I wonder if my knife was made for Battle Axe Tobacco?

Thank you for the feedback regarding the MIller Bros knife. In response to those asking if it is for sale, I would consider selling it. Please take into consideration the comments posted about this knife. I am no expert however I beleive the knife to be correct. To me there are no signs of the knife being altered in anyway. PM me if interested. Thanks
