Help identifying tang stamp

Need help with this one ::shrug:: master etched cCcc and all I can make out on the tang is Kansas City MO and a # 9 on reverse tang .
Curtain and Clark possibly ?

That would be my guess. Goins has it spelled a little different: Curtin & Clark 1910-1920. Also, Goins states it has those letters stamped on the blade and I think I can see it on there, faintly, but I can see it.

Compare the blade etch with the etch on the Curtin and Clark in this old post. Perfect match.

Definitely Curtin and Clark. The etch on your knife was a trademark of Curtin and Clark.
