All About Pocket Knives

Found this one last night adding some photos, had a horrible time getting the name to be readable, it has two blades on one side and one on the other side. not a large knife only 3" longest blade 1 5/8" name is wicked hard to read if you dont know what it is starts with a O think its Oremus and Germany under it, tried it all leaded the letters, and finally filled them with pink chalk dust, they are all hard to read. the only mention of Oremus I found was concerning Guttenberg and something about a German knife but nothing I could nail down. Any ideas, look familiar to anyone else? Thank you for any good ideas fired my way. Blue

Maybe Premier/Germany?

I agree, it's "Premier". This was the branding used by an importer, mostly to Canada of knives made in Germany & later Japan. There were also a few made in Sheffield. Quality of Premier knives is very good.
The name for this pattern is a Sleeveboard Lobster. Lobster = springs in the middle and blade(s) open from both top & bottom 'deck'.
Handles are Stag (deer antler).
I group this type of knife into "Gent's knives", a knife a gentleman might carry to church or office etc. Not a knife for a working man doing his job.
Gent's type knives were common 100 years ago and less common now.

Hey thank you so much, when I looked at the blades last night I didnt think it looked like it was for much more than light duty work, but looked too masculine to be a lady's fruit knife. Thank you for the help, do you have any knowledge of how I would date it? Blue

This is a Premier tang stamp if you want to compare. I know nothing about them so I can't tell you if they changed over the years.

I'd say that the underline is a dead give-away. Premier it is.

Premier was located in NYC & Toronto and imported knives beginning in 1921. The NYC location closed ~ 1955 but the Toronto business was still active into 1990's and might still be today.
Your stag lobster knife is likely from before WW II.
