Need help identifying multi purpose single blade pocket knife. Blade has unusual bottom portion and is stamped on one side with black pair of kissing kranes atop "ROBT KLAAS SOLINGEN"

Without a picture or at least a better description, your knife could be anything. An unusual blade may be a grafting blade and I believe Klaas made some of those but without information we can't help you. ___Dave

Kind of reminds me of a European electrician's knife without the stripping notch ::shrug::

According to Tim Butler aka Basser5, that knife is called a "cablemaster" and was designed for stripping flat cable. Tim would have told you himself but he can't, for some reason, log into AAPK just now.

Quite common, not very old, from well after WW II, value $20-$30.
