SFC ADP and others.
Earlier I posted a request for help ID'ing this knife. I now have pics.
Does anyone know the handle material? It apperas to be jigged bone dyed black.
Any model number to suggest?
Thanks again

I would just mention that those are not nice, round, well finished pivot pins. Looks like the knife has been apart, at least. The handle material would be the least of my questions about this knife, although it looks like jigged plastic or composite to my old eyes.
I don't think I could rate this knife excellent, and wouldn't consider this knife at the prices mentioned...but others might.
JMO, of course.

Thanks El Lobo (Bill),
I think you're right. I was getting a little too excited for the owner.
It looked like composite to me too or some after market jigged bone. I hadn't paid attention to the pins either. And, your right again about the condition. I was working from memory. In my mind's eye it was in a lot better condition.
I'll tell the guy to hang on to it for sentimental value since he claimed it came his way thru a family member.
Thanks for your time adn expertise.
Jim (nifenut).
