Most likely a 6299 at 4 1/8 closed 1940-64.

Nice knife.

Measuring the knife's closed length end-to-end is best. Caliper is best if you have access to one. Laying a ruler next to the knife is near worthless as it is hard to judge whether the length is distorted by the photo angle.

Ditto, very nice knife. I have a bunch of 99 1/2"s (clip blade) but no 99's (spear), so if you need someone to take it off your hands, I'm your guy! I'm not sure what you mean by "no markings on the blades", I can see the "CASE XX" tang stamp clearly in your pictures. ::tu::
