C.I Prather Japan folding knife

Post by J529A »

I recently saw a C.I. Prather Japan folding knife single blade with back lock for sale on EBay. I can't find any information about this brand. Does anyone have any experience or knowledge about this knife brand?

C.I. I believe stands for Compass Industries. Was it a Buck 110 clone? There were several Japanese companies back in the 1970's and 80's that made those(Valor;PIC;etc.).Some were of reasonable quality and others were pure junk.

Thank you for the response it is greatly appreciated! Yes, the knife looks exactly like a Buck 110 clone. I assume those were of poor quality.
