Camillus Washington Jack Restoration
I found this Camillus Washington Jack at an antique store last year.
It wasn't in the best of shape but I did see some potential in it.
It had the original bone on the mark side and a piece of wood on the pile side.....
Here is a few pics of it in its "as found" state.....
When I got it apart, I found the markings on the tang for the maker......
I decided I wanted to use some smooth red bone for the new covers.
Here is the result of my restoration attempt....
I found it interesting that this knife was right in the middle as far as size goes between the Schrade 2OT Old Timer and the Boker 9815....
Thanks for looking everyone!

Great job.

Those smooth red bone covers were a great choice. That knife looks fantastic. I'm a huge fan of the jack pattern and that's a great looking resto.
Re: Camillus Washington Jack Restoration
I am a firm believer that handle material needs to match the look and style of a particular knife. It is a highly subjective thing, I know, but what looks great on one knife looks all wrong in another. That being said, you nailed the handle choice on this one perfectly! Great execution on it, as well.

Nice work… that Camillus turned out great.
Re: Camillus Washington Jack Restoration
Fantastic! I did one recently with what looks to be the same red bone...
Re: Camillus Washington Jack Restoration
That red bone sure is eye-catching. Nice job on that one!
