I cobbled together a EDC toter

Post by Meridian_Mike »

I went out to my shop before all the nasty weather shut me down and dug out these parts and made me an EDC.
.
I THINK these parts were from 2 different knives maybe (??).
.
Anyway, it's 3-7/8" long and I put a turkish clip blade in it because I just thought it looked cool.
(maybe from a Muskrat....??)

Anyway..... here it is.....
Amber bone.
just parts.JPG
It's thin, since it only has the one blade....
It fits nicely in your pocket.
I sorta like it.

Thanks y'all....
These parts came out of my Schrade / Old Timer parts box.
The parts seem to sorta fit together. Maybe 8OT liners and spring.
I was fun. The blade stuck out a LOT when I pinned it together. Then, I adjusted the kick to get it down inside the liners.

Mike, you are abusing the English language by calling that cobbled. It looks great!

Me too... they are sorta "sexy" looking. All slender and such.

Thanks for the comments everyone!
It was a fun little project!

Very nice creation Mike! I love it when spare parts come together like that. I'm sure it will make a great EDC and quickly become your good buddy. ::tu:: ::tu:: :D

It does look good. And great choice on those bones. That one will get even prettier with age and use!
