Kutmaster Easy Open

Post by orvet »

I had an old Kutmaster Easy Open Jack with celluloid stag handles that were starting to strengthen crack. I removed the old handle material, and the secondary blade and turned it into a single blade EO Jack.
The bone if I am remembering correctly is nutmeg color and Catalina jigging pattern. I've actually become rather fond of this knife and have been carrying it as an EDC. Good steel in this old knife!

Since I was planning on using it I didn't shine the blade, but I probably got the bolsters to shiny from the look of pictures ::facepalm::

Very sweet Dale, I can see why you like it and why you carry it. Those old EO do have a charm about them. Great job as always. ::nod:: ::tu::

That's a good looking knife, now, with the single blade and EO. Bone is beautiful!!! ::tu:: ::tu:: ::tu::

That one is extra nice! Those old Kutmasters will get crazy sharp in my experience. I can see why you pack it!

Nice one Dale! Yep, I like that Catalina pattern too. And that color is great.

That looks like a great EDC.... thin with one blade. That knife will turn heads for sure. You don't see those everyday!
