No before photos, just one of the finished knife. The blade was in good shape so I didn't do anything to it. Just replaced the handles with some Hunter Green scales in the American Standard pattern.
I still haven't figured out the pivot pin thing yet, I usually end up with some of the pin showing. Gotta be something in my technique or maybe the hammer that I'm using. Eventually I'll figure it out.
Here's the Camillus;

Re: Camillus Grand Daddy #9
Looks good Jeff. That bone looks very much like some old bone that I a using on a Schrade 96OT.
It was bone I ordered several years ago from Jantz Supply and it's been sitting in my bone inventory for probably10 years. I wouldn't be surprised if it was made by Culpepper for Jantz because it looks like the American Standard jigging.
Your Barlow here has the American Standard jigging and hunter green coloration. We will see how close my 96OT matches your hunter green American Standard, I think they're close perhaps even the same. Nice job on the Grand Daddy Barlow!

Thanks Dale!
I bought my green bone a few years ago from Culpepper. I’ve done two or three different greens lately, I’m just not that excited with the green bone handles. It may just be my personal color preferences but I seem to be leaning towards the mahogany’s, whites and some shades of red (pretty basic color palette I know).
It’ll be interesting to see if your green is a close match to the one used on this knife.

Thanks everyone!
The Michigan weather has finally warmed up a bit and that allows me to get downstairs and out to the garage to work on a few project knives. The new grinder definitely helps with some of the processes.
