Boker USA celluloid breakdown and takedown

This belonged to a friend’s dad who has passed.
Old scales were failing and he wanted to go back with olive micarta.

Yes, the olive micarta does look good on that Boker. Saved another old one from decomposition. Turned out great!

Lucky you got to that one when you did--Granddad had a near identical knife in his collection that outgassed, which meant a good two hours of work for me. At least I got a bunch that had issues (worn blades, a broke secondary blade, damaged handles, etc.) that were good as users.
