IXL Gunstock

Post by Brumbydownunder »

I seem to have a fixation on the Gunstock Pattern at the moment.
Blade came from an old IXL - Wostenholm - Trapper The spring from a double blade Schatt & Morgan Gunstock that I converted to a single blade.
(I've probably said it here before but I reckon the great natural ergonomics of the Gunstock Pattern are ruined by a second blade.)

Where it started....

End result....

Brass all round and Beef Wood Scales bang on 4 inches closed.
