Repair work needed.

Post by LanG »

I've got 3 knives that I'd like to improve, and I'm hoping someone is ready, willing, and able! :)

1) Camillus - Hate the cheesy handles. I'd like re-handled with bone, leaving off the shield. Also the main blade rubs against the outside scale.

2) Remington Jack - The main blade has a bit of wobble, and is a bit soft opening and closing. I'd like it to snap like the secondary blade, and no wobble.
I've heard that tapping on the holster may help, but I'm afraid I'd do more harm. I like this knife and want to edc it, but I'd like to know it's in great working condition.

3) Remington Pruner - Blade is very loose and wobbly. I assume the pin is broken. Big crack in the handle by that pin. I'm hoping it can be restored
to good usable condition, with tight blade.

Happy to pay your going rate, or trade out if I have anything of interest to anyone taking this up.
Can take more, (maybe better) pics if needed.
Thanks!
