Unidentified knife

Post by Sjkn4kds »

I recently purchased this pocket knife but haven’t been able to determine its manufacturer or age. It does have a tang stamp but much of the lettering is worn away. What I can see appears to read “CHAR”. Can anyone help me to identify and/or date this knife? I have found out that Imperial made knives for Ruchards but can’t find any information on that brand. I’d appreciate any suggestions you would have!

Welcome here.

Are there any stampings on the back side of the tang?
