After throwing out several "minimum" bids, a knife finally fell in my lap last night.
I have this really nice looking P.A. Old Timer on the way.

This Ulster (or so the sellers title said) looked interesting to me since it has bone covers.
I managed to land it from the bay.

It is all steel construction so that tells me WWII time period (?) maybe....
Was this one a military knife? Like a Corps of Engineers knife maybe?

Anyway..... here she is.....

I haven't been able to read the tang stamp to verify Ulster as the maker.
I sure hope it really is an Ulster.

NOPE.... it wasn't an Ulster.... it turned out to be a Camillus.

Very scarce Ulster knife company scouts with be prepared shields .
All have the early style blades so I suspect 1920s era .

Can't say I've run across one of these Ulster's before, a small 2 3/4" boys knife that somehow managed to keep its chain, still has a faint Ulster Brand etch.
