I like them. Always like the old postcards and the knives.

Here's a neat little Ulster.

Hey, thanks Lee.
You're reading the rule wrong. It's 9 1/2" ................. ::woot::

Naw, just kidding. It's 2 5/8". It's a snappy one. ::tu::

Now that's taking extremes to the limit! :roll: :lol:
....the little but elegant MoP (BTW Joe... very nice photos showing the effects of the handle). ::tu::
....and the beefy HUNTER ::tu:: 8) ....I guess you didn't have a caliper rule big enough for that one?? ::rotflol::
....from all that you posted here.... it quickly becomes obvious that you have a museum caliber collection.... Do you have them all on display?
'til later....

Thanks Ken.
I certainly do not have museum quality knives. There are other members whose collections are up to that standard.
There is something wrong with every one of mine. Save a very few. But decent enough knives to own and show.
I have sure enjoyed every ones knives on this thread. Many more to come, I hope. ::tu::
Thanks for starting this thread, Ken.

Here are some Schrade Cuts. From top to bottom. 4.5" English Jack, 3.75" Split Spring 804 Whittler, 3.62" Camp/Utility, 3.62" EE single spring, 3.5" Congress and finally a 3.37" Barlow. Top folder has pick bone covers, the Barlow might be a George Schrade early machine jigging example and the rest are peach seed jigged bone.

Thanks Lloyd for posting those wonderful old Schrades.... I'm finally sensing a real true appreciation for traditional bone folders with the marvelous knives being posted here. ::tu:: ::tu::

....but there is no getting around it, as my avatar hints too.... Schrade's Butter & Molasses knives are still my favorite....
but they seemed to had a hard time keeping the colors consisted when two from the same time period are compared side−by−side....

Here are some celluloid Schrade Cut and a couple of Shapleigh Hardware DE folders. The DE folders are 5th from top and the bottom example. I believe the DE folders were made by Schrade.

What a beautiful group of knives, Lloyd. All so clean and in such good condition. ::tu::
I especially like the second knife down with the swell back frame and the lined and slanted bolsters. And the fabulous covers.
And that curved back gunstock. Beautiful covers on that knife too. A great show of really beautiful knives.

What a great assortment of celluloids you have there Lloyd. ::tu::
The first one with the blue rings, I thought was a bit unusual.

Joe, that's a mighty fine lookn' dogleg you have there. ::tu::

I got one more old Schrade Cutlery Co. to show & its another celluloid.... a 4" Premium Stockman − № 8803G.... I have shown it elsewhere, but need to post it here as it is my favorite pride & joy.... even tho it is some 80+ years old.... it looks unused and like it was just made yesterday! ::groove::

Beautiful celluloids KAW and Lloyd, never get tired of seeing your celluloid collection, Lloyd! ::tu:: ::tu:: Very nice NYK Hammer Brand, Joe! ::tu::
According to the dates given in Sellens, the Keen Kutters below should have all been made in Walden.

Thank you, Lloyd. Your collection of celluloid knives are an eyeful... like brightly colored candies. A real treat. It's unfortunate that none of the modern synthetics have been able to recreate shell celluloid. Such a beautiful material.
