Some awesome knives being shown in this thread!

Here's a stag-handled one made by A. F. Bannister & Co. It's one of the smaller boy's knives at 2 5/8" closed.

I wanted to share this Remington Boys Knife R23CH which Keith motivated me to look for based on his knives but needed to find the right photo - the knife was in the Knife Magazine article but I couldn't use the same exact photo as I think they now have it copyrighted

.. just don't know but didn't want to chance any issues so a slightly different photo)... anyway rolling off Keith's beautiful examples this is my best Remington that I own for sure (and btw both have full blades but don't have a photo of the pen blade at the moment)... lucky to have it and thanks to Steve Pfeiffer (knifeaholic) in finding it

....

Attica Knife Co., Goins book says best guess, g. 1875-1900 hard to find stamp. Look quite like the Russell made "BOY OF AMERICA" knives.

Btrwtr that is interesting. Im gonna dig my Russell out. I know they don't have tang stamps and were made by J Wards.

Thanks Joe! That Attica is a Cattaraugus product one of their secondary marked knives along with Valley Falls. Still love that one. Here is another one with a chain.

Joe - Classic old nice knife with great wood, bail and all

Kerry - Nice old Miller Bros

.. hard to date that cutlery by the stamp but I would say +/- 1900 ... Goins notes for that specific Miller Bros stamp 1863-1926 but 1863-1872 they were in Yaleville & Wallingford CT so given Meriden is on the stamp I would say 1872-1926...

Wayne - Interesting for sure... The Attica no doubt has great similarities to the Russell - I have the latter. I actually never knew Attica made those as well (or was there a connection between them as Russell did a fair amount of contract work

) - pretty cool either way!!

Mike - That M&G is sweet - whole knife and etch is superb!!
