Shapleigh Hardware Co.
Re: Shapleigh Hardware Co.
I love that bit of steel at the bottom of the pen blade well.
That and many other things I love about your fabulous knife.
It is a real beauty.
Thank you for putting it in this thread, Ike.

Great knife Ike! Love the caramel honey colored bone handles!!
Here is my Shapleigh DE (Schrade made) pill buster. Actually Schrade calls it a Ballon pattern Jack Knife. See Schrade catalog supplement 1934 page 90.

Another beautiful knife!
That is a beauty, Lloyd.
Is that a return of the spring in the pen blade well? At the cap.
That looks like a handful.

Lloyd, Ike, simply beautiful.
Re: Shapleigh Hardware Co.
Two DE Congress and the bottom DE is a double end single spring Jack. The peachseed are Schrade Cuts and the dark stag left one is probably Empire.

A dandy, little used whittler with handsome covers and a remarkable etch. Very nice find Roger.
Who has seen a etch like that?
