Re: Traditonal Hunters - Fifty years old (1965) and older…..
Real nice knives tongueriver ... never too many fixed or folders for this thread... those Marbles are beauties but the agate celluloid on that Western States is unique and very cool looking!!

Here is one I picked up today. Keenwell Mfg. Co, Olean NY circa 1912. Sheath is currently undergoing re-furbishing. Point of knife has been re-profiled slightly.

No doubt that old beauty of a Hunter deserves some show time here too Joe ... that is one nice looking blade, wood and shield as alluded to in the other threads as well...

I agree with peanut740... they fit here just fine and nice additions for sure ... that is one cool axe with that pommel but with a fold down blade cover too unique to my eyes... and nice MSA blade as well below it ....

Thread bump day for me...
If you haven't browsed this thread or if it has been a while, it might be worth a look. There are some really exceptional knives posted in this thread.
Here is a Case Tested XX 6165 SAB with green winterbottom handles.
Thanks for looking.

Probably the only one I have that qualifies, is this 1950's Western BSA Scout knife, an L66 skinning knife...

Thanks for bringing this back to top RalphAlsip and beautiful knife to do it .... I agree with you 150% that this thread is an awesome showing of Hunters!!!
Lovely additions MB - nice all the way around, Checksix and Greg
I think we could print a photo album of the Hunters in this thread as alluded to above that is an AAPK group effort that could be some fun ... and a best seller

Those are beauties Roger (lovely etch too) and Dimitri ... and the thread of awesome Hunters grows ....
MB's additions just above jarred my memory - I never put this one in this thread and being a big lock back clip blade with knurly stag from Wostenholm I think it belongs here as a Hunter -
