Here's some more.

1) Two camillus 69's

2) Two Western split back 4 inch whittlers. One is WELL worn and has a paint filled piece missing in the back. But I like it anyway.

3) Western scout

I don't think I have a trained eye for Rogers bone.
I believe some one said these Wards had Rogers bone on them.
I was going to show my Imperial cattle knives, but there's no need to be redundant, especially when Phil's knives blow mine out of the water.
Great post Phil and great knives here.

Here is a Remington Bullet R1303 that I believe has Rogers bone. My perception is that Rogers bone gets better with age (i.e., patina and a little pocket wear enhances it).

Great bunch of knives, although there are a couple I would not consider to be Rogers bone.Mumbleypeg 's knives is a great example of Rogers bone in my opinion. Also the scout knives you see stamped made in the USA have Rogers bone on them. Here are 3 examples with varying shades of color.
Many companies jigged their own bone and it had some similar look.

I do too Tommy. I'm sure you've got some nice ones that would fit right in here.

Here are a pair of Remington Boy Scout knives that have what I believe to be Rogers Bone handles, however after discussing the bone Remington used with one of our esteemed members earlier today, I'm not entirely sure. I welcome all informed input as to whether or not these are Rogers Bone.

Before I read this thread I was a little confused about Rogers Bone, even though I had checked out the jigging patterns on the Case Site. There are some very fine examples posted in this thread, but I will confess that I am still confused about what makes jigging Rogers Bone. Is it the shape of the individual jig like this:
jig.jpg
jig.jpg (9.96 KiB) Viewed 4223 times
Or is the overall pattern of jigging like this:
jigging.jpg
jigging.jpg (16.82 KiB) Viewed 4223 times
Or does it have to include the shape of the jig and the pattern of jigging? At this point my general sense of the meaning of Rogers Bone is that it is the shape of the individual jig that matters.

It's the random pattern AND as noted in my first post, made by Rogers.

Sorry Phil, it is a W.R. Case & Sons. Couldn't find this photo on my computer, so copied it back from a previous post and the result is that it can not be enlarged with a mouse click?

Nice one danno! That's the real deal - Rogers bone for sure. ::tu::

Ken

Edit: If it helps, here's a couple more pics (both sides) of the Case Bradford tri-fold on which you can see the randomness of the Rogers jigging. Note the worm grooves on the mark side. Don't know if this is the "Indian Trail" jigging mentioned in Jerry D's earlier post or not. May be since I guess the tri-fold might be considered a hunting knife ::shrug:: . Pics should enlarge with double-click.

Thanks Jerry. I had the idea frrom the article that you posted that Rogers quit making it in 1962 but that Rogers Bone was still being produced by others.

Anyway, random pattern is good. That explains why I could not figure out a pattern!

I think these old Remington Boy Scout knives are Rogers Jigged brown bone. I paged through some old catalogs to see how they're described. Most catalog ads said the handles are Stag. I'm going out on a limb here and calling it Brown Bone.
If you click on the pic it will blow up for a real close look.

Very interesting Ken. Here is the bone on mine. Certainly not standard green bone CASE jigging.
