The Venerable Old Barlow
Re: The Venerable Old Barlow
Evidently it was a tool to the first owner. Served him well.

Re: The Venerable Old Barlow
Here is a rarity for a Barlow collector, early stag handles with a spey main, made by Joseph Allen & Sons. Pretty good condition and the NON XLL bolster stamp is interesting, pretty sure it means "Non Excelled". I'm thinking 1890 to 1920 or so.

Thanks guys, I was really happy to add this one to the Barlow collection, one thing I left out is it also has flush and square joints, another rarity for a Barlow.

Re: The Venerable Old Barlow
I picked up these two from a collector friend recently.
A Cattaraugus and a Winchester.
I had been wanting the Catt for awhile, we finally agreed on a trade.
