Here's a tool kit knife/handle made by Clauss. I don't have the tools.
I use it as my bench knife. It's a great tool. I really like it.

Here is a Clauss I picked up recently (unfortunately has damaged front scales). I think this is the same as Case Tested 6228EO. 3-5/16"

Not a Case pattern, not made by Case. Looks like a Robeson to me.

Clauss had a surprisingly large number of companies make their knives over the years.

Anyone interested in this one? I would trade it for something I like or sell it.

Personally I'm not interested in selling or trading for it but have a question - On the rear bolster is there a pin that runs through the knife from mark to pile side?? The extended pin in the photo on that rear bolster reminds me of a tool kit knife (check this thread: viewtopic.php?f=35&t=21337 )...

Yes I’m fairly certain that’s what it is.

I'm inclined to agree with Steve re' the EO jack with the broken front handle; looks like a Robeson product to me.

I do not have a Robeson doppelganger to show, but the bone is fairly indicative.

I caught one! It’s a little Clauss gentleman’s knife.
When I picked it up, it was just plain disgusting. ::barf::
It was tarnished and dirty and I really wasn’t sure if I’d be able to clean it up at all. The Red Barn/Vancouver Flea vendor is kind of a buddy, so I gave him $5 for it anyway. A little elbow grease and some attention to the edge of the smaller blade and I think it’ll pass! It’s lost some of its silver plating but it’s not too bad.
I couldn’t get a good pic of the bail, but it’s has Clauss on it.
I do like my little guys!

For comparison here's my Clauss 27 pattern. Pretty sure it was made by Case.

And a Clauss whittler with Winterbottom handle covers similar to yours. Probably made by Queen.
