Here's a tool kit knife/handle made by Clauss. I don't have the tools.
I use it as my bench knife. It's a great tool. I really like it.

Here's an old Clauss swell center hunter. 5 3/8" closed.
Any thoughts as to who made it?
Thanks for looking.

Not a Case pattern, not made by Case. Looks like a Robeson to me.
Clauss had a surprisingly large number of companies make their knives over the years.

Here is a Clauss knife that I believe was made by Utica.

Nice looking knife, Steve. Love that frame pattern.
Would you say that is Rogers green bone?

Re: Clauss, Freemont Ohio
Anyone interested in this one? I would trade it for something I like or sell it.
I collect pre-1950’s bone, stag, and wood handled high quality knives.
Re: Clauss, Freemont Ohio
Personally I'm not interested in selling or trading for it but have a question - On the rear bolster is there a pin that runs through the knife from mark to pile side?? The extended pin in the photo on that rear bolster reminds me of a tool kit knife (check this thread: viewtopic.php?f=35&t=21337 )...

Yes I’m fairly certain that’s what it is.
