Here's one I wanted to post here for posterity, not my knife, found while surfing the web last year

Thanks Dimitri, that is definitely a interesting looking knife.

Cool knife Dimitri - Looking at it I am trying to imagine how that would feel in hand as a user with that steep curve in handle

Dimitri, do you have any sense as to the size of that knife?
It impresses me as being quite large.
Beautiful stag.

Charlie, I'm thinking somewhere around 4-5" closed. I agree the handles are beautiful.

Man that's a beautiful knife! I have an old Mason and son that has that type of curve, just not as pronounced and it does feel great in your hand.

Keith, the R1465 is elegant and unusual and I would imagine pretty scarce to come by.
Re: Old Pruning and Horticultural Knives
Keith, those two don't look like they've done much work.
Very nice knives.

Re: Old Pruning and Horticultural Knives
Thanks guys. I got the R1465 from Wayne. The guy he got it from sold stuff to hardware stores in Texas and would always ask if they had any old stock knives in the back. That's where this one came from.

That’s how I got started too Keith. My late friend and mentor and I would visit all the old hardware stores in the winter, him looking for trading stock.espn77 wrote:Thanks guys. I became a collector, he was a trader, amongst other things.
Nice additions.
