Dimitri said he was waiting for me to post my Terrier knives in this thread.

For those that might not be aware, Terrier Cutlery Company knives were made, as a premium brand I think, by The Robeson Cutlery Company beginning in 1910 and they stopped producing them in 1916, so any Terrier marked knife is now about one-hundred-two to one-hundred-eight years old.

Here are the ones I have.

Thanks Dimitri, Dan and Bill ::tu:: ::tu:: ... I think to find a pocket knife from the old Sheffield companies which made Bowies/Daggers on a predominate basis - On the other hand I have an early LF&C Hunter but in this case it was easier to find a pocket knife to go along with it :)

Dimitri - Nice knives and beautiful bone on the Ulster and Challenge ::tu:: ::tu:: ... That Empire peanut jack looks familiar :D - I have the same exact Empire with same celluloid as seen below ::nod:: ... I thought it was starting to outgas based on the few bronze spots under the celluloid covers when I found it 3 years ago but it has never progressed any further... of course it has its own special storage area and lives by itself :wink:
Blades Open DSCN4282A.jpg
Paul - That is a sweet looking Schrade whittler ::tu:: ::tu:: ...

Charlie - Your collection of Terrier knives certainly is stunning ::tu:: ::tu:: ... One can see why, as you note, they were considered a premium brand of Robeson... and there is just something about that worm groove bone I always find so appealing.. Thanks for sharing them!!

Charlie, those terrier knives are outstanding.

Very nice Lee ::tu::

Definitely the double to my knife, my cell is very stable in fact I don't recall ever seeing an old Empire knife with celluloid handles outgass.

They are hard to find and I've missed some very nice ones on Ebay. That jumbo sleeveboard whittler is the one I regret most. ::facepalm::

J Nowill doesn't have England on the tang so it should be before 1960,still in business I believe, Finzers was in business late 1800 till early 1900s. Warranted Quality no info but it was inexpensive and I like the handles, I'm sure before 1960.
