Picked up this printers block for the early Case silver handled scout knife .
Also have the knife to complement it :D
Don’t think I’ve posted this one before, has a different tang stamp than most of these .
Blades are all stamped WR Case and sons Bradford pa .

Thanks for looking
Mike

Two great finds Mike. First and only one I’ve seen with that stamp, or a Prestolite wrench either. Appears to be in great shape. ::drool::

Been through the first 100 pages of this thread. Saw only one "MOTS", 7-blade KA BAR for $4200! Here's a 4-blade, "STAINLESS" etched blade. Guess at $600 per blade it's worth around $2400. :D :D .
Merry Christmas to all and to all a GOOD KNIFE! ::handshake:: J.O'.

Mike that knife has some excellent blade steel. I'm sold on old Imperial blades to take and hold a great edge. I also like that your knife has a pen blade rather than the punch. That knife looks like it's a candidate for some of your magic touch. Are you going to make a project of it or leave it original ?

Thanks for that endorsement for this old guy Phil. I always try to pick up the older Imperials when I see one.

I am going to take a good look at the covers when I get it. If they look like real losers then I might put me some bone on it.
(Heck, I might just go ahead and do that anyway.)
Hmmmmm..... Now those wheels are turning.

I was thinking of something else and I bought this pocket knife by mistake. It's an IMPERIAL, "Scout" pocket knife. It has 1 blade, 2 tools, a bail and it measures 3 3/8" closed. According to the tang stamp chart, 1930-1936. After I cleaned it up, it turned out to be a nice little piece of cutlery. I took some pictures and here it is.

Got this one in yesterday, just now getting around to posting a pic. Another addition to my Scout Family. Bought this one from a fellow collector & friend for $20, and couldn't pass it up. A Utica Girl Scout Featherweight with the GS Shield and black composite handles. The blades are like new, fantastic snap and looks to have never been on a stone since the factory edge. The blades and bolsters do have some tiny scratches & age spots, but I don't believe this has been used. There is a place on the bolster that looks like it could have been dropped, but doesn't bother me. I have done nothing to the knife, here it is after I took it out of the package.
