Congratulations Charlie! Wonderful acquisition ::tu:: The dog head logo looks crisp and nice. A real centenarian plus perhaps. Your Terrier collection just keeps growing and is world class!! The PVC pipe shipment trick is a nice idea! Great trade story. Enjoyed hearing about it! Thanks

Wonderful folding hunter and the fact that it is a Terrier makes it very desirable as well as very rare! You had it for awhile? Or did you just score it? Either way that is a real prize!

It was not a real offer. That would have been an insult.

I bought this one off EBay while in Dalton, Georgia for the knife show.

It’s a bit rough and the master is down at least ten percent, but this is a 4 1/4” 037 big cigar jack. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Terrier in this pattern.

The seller had it priced pretty high and we negotiated it down some, but I still had to pay more than I would have liked for a knife in this condition.

The knife certainly has character. It’s over a hundred years old and can only get older.

I’ve been carrying it ever since I received it and we are getting acquainted. ::tu::

No matter what I do, I cannot make those iPhone photos post right side up. ::facepalm::

Here is my only Terrier. English Jack; 5 inches closed; single clip blade; worm groove brown bone handle covers; steel bolsters; brass liners; elongated bolster. This one has a shortened blade. It appears Robeson used the same handle die and bolster length for the Grand-Daddy Barlow; but, given the up-graded finishing (bone, shield) I would classify this an English Jack.

I thank Charlie for guidance on posting photos.
