Good morning everyone,
Does anybody have ANY clue if this knife here was made by a company who didn’t use identifications or if maybe my grandpa built it himself prior to passing? (He was a taxidermist but certainly not a knife maker).
Thanks in advance!

Welcome, Chris.
It looks to me like there is a very good chance that your Grandfather had a need and fulfilled it.
What a beautiful and soulful and wonderful bit of work that is.

It certainly looks home made to me. I bet it could get the job done too.

Definitely looks home made to me. It might have been made from a larger broken knife, or cut out from a saw blade.
However it was done, I know that you are proud to own something like that from your Grandfather. Really neat!

My mother had a kitchen knife with that same shaped and colored handle. Same rivets too. It’s also unmarked. I think he cut down a butcher knife to suit his needs.
