Anybody have any idea what this is, or where it's from?
From the looks of the jigging on the bone I would say it's probably from Japan, circa 1950s but that's just a guesstimation.
Does anyone know for sure, or have a better guess? I would certainly appreciate your insights. Thanks!

I did a search and found other knives like yours with the same making on the blade and they are Japanese.

Absolutely Japanese. I've seen several photos of nearly identical knives for sale on various international auction sites.

It looks Japanese to me.
According to Google translate Kanesizu translates to "do not double" in Japanese so that pretty much sums it up. Or does it?
