I suppose you could go to the brand specific forum and post there, for the time being.
In your case (pun not intended), here ---> https://www.allaboutpocketknives.com/kn ... m.php?f=66

If you will notice, the “want ads” was closed due to the plethora of “scammers” members here have experienced recently. If you post a wanted item you’re likely to get contacted by someone (usually a new member here) claiming to have exactly the item you want, and asking you to contact someone to send them money. Then you never receive the item. Therefore AAPK has been forced to close the want ads forum.

If you post your desired items elsewhere here maybe you won’t receive a scammer offer. Maybe you will. ::shrug:: Caveat emptor. Here’s a link to a thread here describing a typical scammer event:

Its a shame the want ads are being scammed
I really enjoy watching what others are wanting and I've been contacted with my ads by good members
Hopefully AAPK can come up with a way to open again I'm sure there's not an easy solution

With colleges now offering scholarships for gaming, you would think 12 years olds would find something better to do than harass knife forums. ::cuss:: ::cuss:: ::cuss::

Seems to me the scammers are mostly reading the Wanted section on the public forum, then joining, sending PM to the member who posted their want and then the scam begins. Wonder if Bryan could put the Wanted forum behind the member "wall", so you have to be a member to see it? Might eliminate some of the scammers. ::shrug::

I have doubts that posting the wanted item in any other public part of the forum will work. Unfortunately as long as members continue posting Wanted items where scammers can easily search for and view the posts, they're going to continue.

Yep I'm sad this has now gone, and to be honest the usual retoric of the scams were so easy to spot it was laughable.

I put an ad up for used 110 sheaths, and within hours some new member had a mate who knew someones uncles dog that had tons of them lol

But that being said as I live in the UK it was a good place for me to scout out if anyone had anything I'd be interested in or actually wanted.

I think there should be a new one opened up with a password entry where only users over a certain amount of posts could get entry. or even like the other sites if you are a paying member.

But whilst I'm here I would just like to say I still want a LB3, LB4, Stag handled 110 / 112 ..........oh and some 110 old sheaths ::tu:: ::tu:: ::tu::
