Case XX 64052 ten dot

Post by 313 Mike »

For Sale
Case XX 64052 Congress, 10 dot, 1970
3 1/2 " closed
Unused condition
Beautiful reddish orange handles with no cracks or chips.
Half stops on all four blades. All blades walk and talk with no blade play.
Some spidering on the blade surfaces as visible in the pics, but the knife is clean inside and out.
To quote Steve Pheiffer from his book " The 052 pattern with 4 blades is unusual in that both the large sheepsfoot blade and the long spear blade are considered master blades and each will have the Case logo tang stamping"
95.00 shipped, PayPal, money order or check if I know ya.

Once again from Steve's book, just to give a rough idea of value. I know mine isn't mint due to the spidering on the blades, but it is unused and that bone is pristine. At $95 this will be a great pick up for somebody. ::tu::

Whenever someone asks "what do you mean when you say the older knives were better?" - you should just post a picture of that knife. That's what a bone-handled knife should look like!
