Miller Bros Smoker’s knife?

Post by joefm »

I got this knife, and at first thought that it was used. After looking at it and noticing how blunt the small blade is, and how perfect the fit is, I believe it to be a smoker’s knife. I just wanted to get your opinion on what you think it is and what it is worth?

Joe,
Is that a bandage on your thumb? Miller Bros get a bite out of your thumb? You know it is customary to post bloody photos over in the appropriate thread. :D :D

Doesn't seem to have the stereotypical things a smokers knife would have. Jmo

I would say not a smokers knife, but a worn down pen blade.

Agree, looks like a pen knife to me.

A pipe smokers knife would have implements more like this Richards has, tamper, stem cleaner, and round ended scraping blade.

Thank you Eric. So what i see at the edge of picture is the full thickness blade spine. I was expecting bolster but it is much too narrow and thus my confusion.
Pattern is a "Swell Center" pen knife.
