Wingfield, Rowbotham & Co
Wingfield, Rowbotham & Co
Picked this little knife up today, marked No. 82 Tenter St Sheffield. 4" closed. I love the fat scales! Has anyone a guess at the age of this knife?
Re: Wingfield, Rowbotham & Co
Goins says 1852-1932. Since it doesn’t appear to have country of origin probably 1852-1890. Either way nice knife, I like it Nice find!!

Beautiful piece of living history there Uncle Bob and one of my fave makers. I *think* WW&R slightly predates W&R iirc.
I have a few more if I can find pics I will post em.
