Laforet - elegant French knife

Post by Lansky1 »

I randomly stumbled upon this manufacturer of handmade French slipjoints, Laforet Cutlery. The web site has lots of interesting stuff to read about their small shop and how they manufacture their knives - I found it really interesting: https://translate.googleusercontent.com ... v_-EvdgC2A

They make entry level knives in the $100 range, all the way up to full blown customs in the $900 range.

Here's a video I found on eBay that explains the knife co & what their L'Arconsat model is all about: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ym8k5TCI4ik
pffffft that's not a knife ......... now THAT'S a knife !! Crocodile Dundee

I like this video so much i might have to buy one of their knives. True old fashioned Old World craftsmanship.

Glad you guys liked their video ... I was thinking about buying one too - their standard quality wood sided knives on their web site are pretty amazing for the price ...
