Picked this piece up from a fellow knife collector on FB. Myself and a few others have been trying to ID the maker ( Mokesch ) with no luck. I've got one more person to ask about the origin and I will post on a couple of German pages. If nothing comes up the search ends there and I'm gonna say that it is of Austrian origin and leave it at that. Either way it's gonna make a great addition to my collection whoever made it.

Re: Mokesch - Austrian ?
I like this knife. Very interesting. I would image that Eustace will be along and let you know about it. I wish I could help, but I have never heard of this knife maker before.

Re: Mokesch - Austrian ?
I think it may be either of Russian(pre-revolution 1917)origin or possibly Eastern European. I have a small folder with similar bolsters that Eustace told me was of that era.

Nice bones and a very unique knife. A keeper for sure.
