This lambsfoot is HEAVY , the blades snap tight and it still has a good edge.

Thank you, there's no England stamp so I'm thinking pre 1891 ???

Strikes me that it is in exceptionally good condition for a knife of that time. Very nice. ::tu::

Nice knife for sure ::tu:: ... and the real lambs foot stamped knives are not all that numerous ... actually there is England on the stamp on the blade tang in 3rd photo down (Sheffield/Art/England)... for the most part England does indicate post-1890 but supposedly knives not made for export may not have had England as a stamp... as an aside there is a thread on them under Knife Lore if you want to share this knife there as well ..
