Unknown (for me!) a pocket knife...

Post by ChrisH007 »

Hi,
I got a pocket knife, I bought in Sweden and the only mark which is visible looks like that: "AH 59 or HA 59"
Is there anybody who 's able to verified from what a factory it could be a product?
Thanks in advance,

Hi Chris, Welcome to AAPK. I'm sorry but I can't help you with any information about your knife. May I suggest you post a couple of photos showing the entire knife with blade(s) open ? That might be very helpful in someone being able to identify it.

Welcome to AAPK. Pictures of the entire knife please. Can't tell from that picture if it's a folding knife or a fixed blade or what.

Chinese origin, recent production. It's a generic term seen on thousands, if not millions of inexpensive folding knives. However, I think it looks pretty good. However, what's got me curious is the marking "H-59". Perhaps these were bought, then rehandled with engraved pewter for sale in the tourist trade?

The compass marking for "east" on the knife is an "O," which suggests a contract for a German entity of some sort.
