Taylor's eye witness barlow
Taylor's eye witness barlow
Got this one in recently. The boys on the porch at BF educated me. This 2 blade pattern was imported to Australia, it was called a stockmans knife. The lambsfoot and clip in the same frame is seldom found now days. Dates in the 1900 to 1920 range.
Regards,
Rob

One of The Finest Barlows I Ever Seen , I Like Everything about it , Must Have been Patented else The other manufacturers would have reintroduced That Bad boy For Sure .

I'm told the 2 full size blades in any configuration were for import to Australia. I have no idea if it was patented or not.

Seems like there is a thread here about that style knife or one
very close to it. I'm wanting to say they (Aussies) called it a rabbit knife.
I may be way off base.... hopefully one of our down under fellers will chime in.

I think the Bunny knives were more like a saddlehorn than a Barlow style.

Those Bunnies look familiar somehow ? There are British Bunnies and German Bunnies. Do we need a GEC Bunny ?
