I'm still going through my stag box, this is a Taylor's "Eye Witness". Its a long knife with a violin or swell centre shape with a long blade measuring 3.5" but would have been another 0.25" if the tip was still there. The small blade is about 2.5" long and again it has lost a little bit off the tip. The scales are made of ivory and has brass liners with nickel bolsters. As you can see both blade are pivoted at the same end so I would say its a pen knife.
I would say its 19th century but when I don't know. My brother seems to think you can date the Taylor's from the eye stamp and that would be useful but I've not been able to find any reference to this, thats big brothers for you!
If any of you guys can through some light on to the age i would appreciate it.

I would hazard a guess of 1870's or perhaps a bit older based on the stamp, style of the tangs and the overall look, but perhaps others more familiar with the Taylor's brand will know more. Very pretty old knife
