Help me identify this knife

Post by DannyLG »

It says rostfrei on the blade. It’s missing the shield so I don’t know the maker. I think it’s a serpentine jack. Picked it up for 3 dollars at an estate sale. It’s definitely older. Any help is welcome. Thanks

'Rostfrei" is the German indication for stainless or "rust free" , Maker ?????? J.O'.

At a wild guess I would say it was made in the '70s or '80s, based on the look of the plastic handles.
I cannot even hazard a guess on the manufacturer, but probably European. Or Japanese, for the European market.
Then again, I might be way off on both guesses.

It’s unlikely anyone will be able to definitively identify the maker. ::shrug:: I’d say you paid about what it’s worth. JMO. It has no collector value, so put it in your pocket and use it. ::tu::
