Post Your Tactical Folders
Re: Post Your Tactical Folders
Thanks, Dave.
Yes it is. No model number on the knife but the box says,TR-4.1 D2.
It's a pretty impressive knife. I really like the blade design.

Interesting history and concept, thanks for sharing the link. I didn't really think it was designed for pruning rose bushes or bonsai trees...but that is definitely one velociraptor of a knife for sure. Might have to get me one for the imminent "zombie apocalypse" that's sure to follow on the heels of the 2016 presidential election (regardless of who wins!)

Thanks, Joe. Here's a pic of my Lone Wolf Paul Prankster. Originally, it came with (special ordered) ivory micarta handle scales...later it was customized with genuine elephant ivory by Ivoryman. ~Q~FRJ wrote:Nice knives.

Of all my so called Tactical Knives I own, I think my Emerson CQC 13 is the one I carry the most. The handle just feels perfect in my hand and I love the Emerson quality!

Re: Post Your Tactical Folders
This thing is a beast! Hardest kicker I own on opening. Built like a tank. It's big, 4" blade, 5-1/4" closed... but I have it in my pocket and it's fine, because it's fairly thin.... spec is at 0.52" but measured across the scales, it's 0.469". Blade is 154CM at 0.13" thick. Scales are aluminum. Paid $215.00garddogg56 wrote:Damn Six what did that set ya back??Thats nice

They are a nice knife, Dave. I was describing mine to a pal of mine and I told him " This thing is a thug".
Glad you like it.

Re: Post Your Tactical Folders
Joe, it seduced me in your pictures the other day. I love the look of it and it is very impressive in hand. Build quality is superb. I'm very happy with it! Apparently mine is a recent production run, it is labeled PR8 s/n 65.... I assume that is Production Run #8 - s/n #65. .....and they changed the blade steel to 154CM, which I happen to like. It's my 1st Protech also. Color me impressed.

Great Dave.
Being happy with a knife purchase is a good thing.
It doesn't always happen that way.
